Damaging your vehicle is never a good thing. If the damage was caused by a counterparty, it is important to fill out an Accident Statement together with this party and send it to schade@directlease.nl. If you prefer to report the damage using your smartphone, you can do so via www.mobielschademelden.nl.
Damage caused by a counterparty
If the damage to your vehicle can be recovered from the counterparty, you will not have to pay a deductible.
Damage without a (known) counterparty
If the damage was caused by e.g. vandalism or an unknown counterparty, you must file a police report. As the damage cannot be recovered from a counterparty, your employer will be liable to pay the deductible.
