Have you said goodbye to your lease car and handed it back? Then it will be inspected by autoinspectie.nl, an independent company that specialises in lease car returns and inspections. Based on their findings, an inspection report will be created. This report includes any noted damage and relevant comments.
If any damage is found during the return that wasn’t reported beforehand, the costs may be charged to you. The same applies to missing items that are part of the lease agreement.

Curious how your car was assessed? You can view the report online via DirectLease.nl > For Customers > Returning your lease car.
Enter the licence plate and the reference code of the car you want to view.
Tip: You’ll find the reference code on the final invoice.
Return protocol
Of course, we understand that normal wear and tear can occur after driving a car for several years. That’s why DirectLease makes a clear distinction between wear and tear and damage. Want to know what qualifies as normal wear? Check our Lease Car Return Protocol.
