Although driving an electric car saves you money by not having to pay for gasoline or diesel, you will have to pay electricity costs to charge your vehicle. If you want, we can include the costs of installing a charging station at home or at work in your lease price.
How much does a charging station cost?
Installing a charging station calls for a tailor-made solution. For example, one installation might require more excavation activities, while another project involves a revision of the meter cupboard. All this affects the total cost. If everything goes smoothly, you should expect to pay around €2,420 (exclusive of VAT). Of course, we can include these costs in your lease price.
The charging card
You can choose to receive a charging card from DirectLease that you can use to charge your electric vehicle. This charging card costs €5.75 (exclusive of VAT) per month. Whenever you use your card, the amount of electricity you use that month is tracked. Your employer will be billed for this every month.
