Electric cars don’t need petrol or diesel – but you will pay for electricity. Of course, you’ll save on fuel costs, but you’ll have electricity costs instead. Good to know: we can include the cost of installing a home or workplace charging station in your lease price.
How much does a charging station cost?
Installing a charging station is always custom work. Some homes need digging work, others need changes to the fuse box — and that affects the total cost. If everything goes smoothly, you can expect a cost of around €3,250 (incl. VAT). We can include these costs in your monthly lease price. Here’s what’s included in that price:
-
Charging socket or fixed 5-meter cable
-
Load balancing via smart P1 meter
-
RFID / SIM / kWh meter
-
Automatic reimbursement of electricity costs
-
Back-office subscription + extended warranty
A standard installation covers:
-
Call-out and labour
-
Up to 10 metres of power cable
-
Up to 3 metres of digging and paving
-
Wall-mounted charger
-
Adjustments to the fuse box
-
One wall drill (concrete or cavity wall)
