  • Does the lease price include replacement transport?

    Replacement transport is an optional clause in your lease agreement. If your agreement includes replacement transport, you are entitled to a replacement vehicle if your own vehicle's repairs or maintenance will take longer than twenty-four hours. For replacement vehicles, we distinguish between a budget option and a deluxe option.

      • Budget: the replacement vehicle is a small car (Volkswagen Up class).
      • Deluxe: the replacement vehicle is no more than one class lower than your own lease vehicle.

    Note: if you require replacement transport and this is not included in your lease agreement, the resulting costs will be charged to the contracting party.

  • What VAT rate do you charge?

    We employ a VAT rate of 21%. All amounts listed on our website are exclusive of VAT.

  • What is included in the lease price?

    Our lease prices are very comprehensive. The standard lease price includes:

    • Interest and depreciation
    • Repair, maintenance and tyres
    • Liability + hull insurance (All Risk) with a liability insurance deductible of €0 per event
    • Personal accident insurance (it is important to note that the PAI coverage only extends to the number of belted seats in the vehicle). Consult the registration certificate for this information.
    • Road tax (HSB)
    • 24-hour (inter)national breakdown and damage service (with optional replacement transport)
    • 24-hour availability by phone
    • Fees, waste disposal fee, roadworthiness preparation costs and other government-mandated costs

    Basically, all you have to pay are fuel or charging costs. You can even include these in your lease price in the form of a fuel advance.

  • Is the lease price “including fuel” truly inclusive or will there be a subsequent charge?

    The lease price “including fuel” includes an advance for fuel costs. This advance is calculated based on the vehicle's fuel consumption as stated by the manufacturer and the annual mileage. The fuel advance is charged every month as part of the lease price. Every quarter, the advances are settled with the actual fuel costs.

  • What (extra) costs should I expect when driving an electric vehicle?

    Although driving an electric car saves you money by not having to pay for gasoline or diesel, you will have to pay electricity costs to charge your vehicle. If you want, we can include the costs of installing a charging station at home or at work in your lease price.

     

    How much does a charging station cost?
    Installing a charging station calls for a tailor-made solution. For example, one installation might require more excavation activities, while another project involves a revision of the meter cupboard. All this affects the total cost. If everything goes smoothly, you should expect to pay around €2,420 (exclusive of VAT). Of course, we can include these costs in your lease price.

     

    The charging card
    You can choose to receive a charging card from DirectLease that you can use to charge your electric vehicle. This charging card costs €5.75 (exclusive of VAT) per month. Whenever you use your card, the amount of electricity you use that month is tracked. Your employer will be billed for this every month.   • What does it cost to drive more/fewer kilometres?

    That differs per manufacturer, fuel type and even the implementation level is a factor. The costs of a higher/lower mileage are listed in your offer and in your lease agreement. If your actual mileage differs more than 10% from your chosen mileage, we will amend your lease agreement in mutual consultation.
