How does it work?

  • Can I make use of business lease as an independent contractor?

    We are there for everyone, including independent contractors. Just like any other business lease car driver, you will have to meet certain conditions.

     

    For example, you must have a COC registration and we are required to examine your annual figures (generally speaking, one full fiscal year). If these are sufficient and you meet all other requirements, there is nothing stopping you from driving a beautiful business lease vehicle.

     

    If you only just started your own business, feel free to contact us. Together, we can assess your options. For example, it may be enough to submit your figures for half a fiscal year instead of a whole year. We are happy to work with you to find a solution!

  • Will I get a registration certificate?

    Yes, you will! Once we have the details of the car, we will ask the RDW (the Netherlands Vehicle Authority) to draw up and send the registration certificate. The card will be sent to your company's fleet manager. It is also possible to have the registration certificate sent directly to your home address. However, we need to know your address for this.

     

    If your company is located abroad, the card will also be sent to your home address, as the RDW does not send registration certificates to foreign addresses.

  • It is possible to lease a car with automatic transmission?

    Yes, you can! We offer a selection of used lease vehicles. These are all relatively new vehicles with a low mileage. Curious to know what we have to offer? Take a look at our selection here! The used lease vehicles page is divided by fuel type: diesel, gasoline, hybrid and electric. You can easily check to see if we have a car that meets your wishes.

  • What are the minimum and maximum numbers of seats I can choose?

    No matter how large your family is, we have the right lease vehicle for you. We offer lease vehicles with anywhere from two to nine seats.

     

    Using our Direct Search, you can easily specify how many seats you want your lease vehicle to have. When using this search tool, you can select the desired number of seats in the left-hand column. You will then get an overview of all lease vehicles that meet your wishes.

  • Is it possible to lease a van?

  • Are there any companies you do not lease to?

    We only offer Full Operational Lease. For that reason, we cannot lease vehicles to taxi companies, courier services or driving schools.

  • Can I get a lease agreement as a startup entrepreneur?

    It is certainly not impossible. Note, however, that the acceptance criteria for startups are generally stricter than those for businesses with a longer financial history. We can explore the available options together, e.g. leasing with a guarantee from a (parent) company. It goes without saying that we assess all applications in a constructive manner.

  • Can I rent a more expensive vehicle than my lease budget allows?

    We have no problem with that. However, there are a few things to discuss with your employer. After all, your employer is liable to pay the lump-sum if the lease agreement is terminated prematurely. The higher cost of the vehicle may also affect your addition tax liability. It is important to make clear agreements with your employer and to be well informed about the fiscal consequences pertaining to your specific case.

  • Are the lease prices based on open calculation or closed calculation?

    All of DirectLease's lease prices are based on closed calculation. However, our fleet owner module can provide insight into a number of relevant contract components, such as fuel costs, mileage deviations and damage frequency.

  • Does DirectLease offer a short-term lease option?

    Yes! Short-term lease is the ideal solution if you are looking for a temporary vehicle without a long-term lease agreement and without high rental costs, but with all the added benefits of Full Operational Lease. DirectLease's short-term personal and business lease vehicles are available immediately with lease periods from one to twelve months! Are you interested in a longer lease period without having to sign a long-term business lease agreement? Our monthly lease is the perfect option for you!

    Monthly lease
    Here's how it works: you sign a lease agreement for anywhere from twelve to sixty months. The choice is yours. You get all the benefits of a Full Operational Lease, as well as something extra. After twelve months, you can return the car free of charge.

    Used car lease
    With DirectLease's used car lease option, you can lease a relatively new used car for an attractive rate and with a short contract period. Another benefit is that you can start driving the car of your choice immediately!

  • Is it possible to lease a vehicle as a private person?
